Welcome everyone!
This blog will function as a simple outlet for my thoughts, my reflections and future plans during my Year abroad. I hope it will function as a way to establish a connection with readers, if any come along!
Today's topic - Reflection re: Email.
I want to highlight an email which I sent to one of my Professors at my University last night - it was a short yet impactful exchange for which I am grateful.
"I've done a lot of reflecting as to my approach to studying Law and in general, the approach to take at University. Don't get me wrong, I have been putting in the effort at all times but now I think I found the rhythm and sense of purpose of the degree more so than previously in my 2 years of studies. The best way to describe it is feeling like a kid again with the innate curiosity to everything to do with Law."
Now - why do I paste this into the first post within my blog?
For one reason - significance. I believe that actions in our human nature are all done with significance, amounting to more than mere acts by nature of humanity. Each step we take, each decision we make - has a purpose.
Although it has only been a month in which I have taken part in my Year Abroad, I can say that certainly I feel like that kid again. My brain is beginning to find its purpose - and with that, a drive towards the feeling of the power of knowledge which I plan on honing in throughout my upcoming years. Law is certainly an area which requires constant practice, repetition and clear will to find the understanding. This idea which I put forward, I continue to resonate with more and more each day.
I hope I will be able to reflect to you, fellow reader, in the upcoming days regarding a full months reflection.
